A Love for Jesus' Word. A Love for Jesus' Church

Our goal for our student ministry is to help parents center their teens in Jesus, and on His Word, as they come of age in an increasingly secular culture. In doing such, we want our students to experience the beauty of belonging to the church. You will often see our students serving on Sunday mornings, sitting in our Sunday gatherings, and engaging in gospel community groups throughout the week.

Our gathering for students is specifically aimed at giving students in grades 6-12 a space to grow in their love for God's Word and His Church.

EXPOSITORY TEACHING

Just like our Sunday services, we work through Scripture book by book and verse by verse. We want to build biblical literacy in our students, as we continually point them to the good news of the gospel.

BIBLICAL COMMUNITY

We want our students to experience loving community that is saturated with God's truth. We are dedicated to creating that environment with our students through our volunteers, who are committed to pouring the gospel into the lives of our students.

Behold. Belong. Be Sent

The mission for our students is the same as it is for our church. We want our students to become disciples of Jesus who behold His gospel, who belong in gospel community, and who are sent on gospel mission.

How we do this

Behold

Our students meet on Sunday evenings to intentionally study God’s Word and encounter the gospel. They walk through a book of the Bible chapter by chapter verse by verse to see how it applies to their lives though the lens of the gospel.

Belong

Students break out into age appropriate small groups to discuss the Bible, pray for one another, and engage in life-on-life discipleship. We want our students to experience the beauty of biblical community.

Be Sent

We want our students to serve one another, and serve the lost. We desire them to be empowered to serve others, not just in our student ministry, but also in our church. Our aim is that our students take the message of the gospel to those around them in their everyday lives.

When We Meet

We meet every other Sunday at 5:00PM at our building for a few hours. Our student gatherings include a time of fellowship, food, worship in song, teaching, and small groups.
